Trema Spike is a fractal texture constructed through
the exhaustive removal of spiked shaped pieces. The term trema
refers to the removed pieces.
If successfully constructed, the trema field will maintain a consistent
fractal dimension at any viewing scale.
The Trema Spike uses an identical algorithm as the
Trema Disk with one exception. The spike has an additional rotation
attribute that substantially increases the complexity of the rendering.
